What’s Going On?

A class action settlement has been reached to resolve a lawsuit that alleged the labeling of certain Method cleaning products as “non-toxic” was false and misleading.

Which Products Are Covered by the Settlement? 

The settlement covers more than a dozen Method cleaners, including all-purpose cleaners, bathroom cleaners, pet cleaning products, wood and floor cleaners, glass cleaners, granite cleaners, dish soap, degreasers and polishes.

How Much Could I Get? 

Consumers can claim $1.00 per product purchased. The total amount of your award will ultimately depend on the number of products you bought, whether you have proof of your purchase(s) and the total number of claims filed with the settlement.

How Do I File a Claim?

You’ll have to go to the settlement’s dedicated website and click “submit a claim.” You can access the settlement website here.

Is This Site Legit? 

Yes. It has been designated by the court as the official website for the settlement and where Method customers will need to go if they want to submit a claim.

Do I Need Proof to File a Claim? 

You do not need proof of your purchase(s) to submit a claim with the settlement; however, those without receipts or other proof may only seek compensation for up to 10 products.
