A class action settlement has been reached to resolve claims that certain iOS updates throttled the performance of older iPhones. This means you may be eligible to file a claim for money if you owned one of these iPhones.

Which iPhones Are Covered?

The settlement covers anyone who owned an iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus or SE that ran iOS 10.2.1 or later OR an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus that ran iOS 11.2 or later before December 21, 2017.

What Will I Get?

You may be able to recover $25 per iPhone. This number may increase or decrease depending on how many claims are submitted.

How Do I File a Claim?

You’ll have to go to the settlement’s dedicated website and click “submit a claim.” You can find the settlement website here.

Is This Site Legit? 

Yes. It has been designated by the court as the official website for the settlement and where Apple customers will need to go if they want to file claims.

Can I Submit a Claim If I No Longer Have the Phone? 

Yes. The settlement website will provide instructions on how to submit your claim if you no longer own the device.
